New Baby Girl

HI Everyone,
Our family has a happy announcement.
Ron & Kathy are proud grandparents of a beautiful baby grand daughter. Their son Robbie and girlfriend Brittany was blessed with a baby girl yesterday September 29th. Her name is Cameron Marie Julia Daoust. She weighed 9lbs 9oz. She is 22" in length. Both mother and baby are fine and healthy.
She was born on our Mother's Birthday. What a nice tribute to her. I know that both my parents are looking proudly at their Great-Grand Daughter from heaven. This is the first for all of us.
There will be pictures when they are available.
Love,
Judee - the proud Great Aunt. (my first)

Terri Surg update

I was suppose to have surg to have my kidney removed on Wed. Oct. 1st but it is posponed till Oct. 11th or 12th. I am going to have it removed laperscopic. This will mean less recovery time and less pain. I have transitional cell cancerima. If the transiction of the kidney after it is removed shows only stage 1 than that is all I will have to have done. If it shows stage 2 or 3 than I will have to have chemo.

Also to let everybody know Ashley, Eric, Kaleb and Madison are all doing great.

Love All,
Terri

Summer Show Season

Welcome from Central, New York. My daughters, Hilary (now 14) and Shelby (now 12) enjoy a fun summer of showing with their cousins Dylan (12 years old) and Allison (8 years old from NJ).
Aunt Irene and Aunt Frankie with Mark and Tyler came to check out the Herkimer County Fair. The girls liked having so many family members and friends watching them. I enjoyed telling everyone about the ins and outs of showing dairy cattle. All for kids did extremely well this year. They showed dairy cows, beef cows, and/or goats. Hilary took Grand Champion with her Brown Swiss cow, Prelude at the Youth Diary Show. Shelby took Grand Champion with her Ayrshire, Lia at the Youth Dairy Show, while Dylan took Grand Champion with his Ayrshire, Ruby at the Open Dairy Show. Shelby also got Grand Champion with her Nubian Goat at the Youth Goat Show and received Supreme Champion at the Open Goat Show. My niece who was showing for the first time received Pee Wee Showman and fourth place with her Jersey calf, Hannah at the Youth Dairy Show. Hilary, Dylan and Shelby also placed in the upper third of their showmanship classes which had 15-20 competitors. They had a great time at the fair.

A new baby in the Daoust Nation

Hi everyone, Terri here, I have some great news to tell you I am a grandma again Eric and his wife Ashley had a baby girl today. Her name is Madison Taylor Zobre, 7 lbs 6 oz, 19 in long. Born Sept 20th at about 2:45 pm. Eric, Ashley, Kaleb & Madison are all doing great.

Now I have to let everyone know that I have to have surgery on Oct 1st to have my left kidney removed. I have a cancerous temor which is in stage one and it is confined to the kidney so far. They will know more once it is removed. As far as we know now I will not have to go for chemo or radition unless it showes up somewhere else.

Don't worry because I'm not I am just going with the day to day activities.

Talk to you all soon.

Arizona or Bust

Hey everyone - Joanne here, I haven't been on in awhile--super busy. Anyway, Jimmy and I are leaving this Sunday - 9/14 for Sedona, AZ. I have a timeshare out there and after 7 years, (the last time I went out there, 9/11/01 happened, I was scheduled for 9/14 and that was the first day the planes went back in the air and you bet, I got on that plane, safest I ever felt flying), I'm finally getting to get out of dodge here. Jimmy has never been out west and is looking forward to it. We're taking the Grand Canyon Railroad from Williams (outside of Flagstaff) to the Grand Canyon on Tuesday. Wednesday is my "29 again" birthday and Jimmy and I are going to be renewing our vows at Cathedral Rock in Sedona, which was always a dream of mine to get married there.

Other plans are to go to the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert, Red Rock Jeep Tours in Sedona, go to Jerome (outside of Sedona, which is an abandoned mining town that has since been redone and turned into art galleries and shops, etc., also the people that live there don't know it's the millenium, they're still hippies and they think it's still the 70's there), and Meteor Crater. Then the other few days will be resort relaxation. If you'd like to see what my resort looks like go to sedonapines.com and click on "cottages" and click on "living room"...etc. and see what each room looks like. It's a beautiful resort. I'll be in touch when we get back on Monday 9/22. Take care - if anyone knows of anything else close by there for us to check out, let me know by this Saturday. Joanne Braman-Palmer

September 6th Golf Outing

The golf outing got lucky again this year. Even though it threatened to pour rain it waited until the last hole. No one remembered a camera for the golf part of the day. Thanks to Jayne we have a few pictures of the luncheon.
