Benefit for Colleen Motler

In July of 2008, Colleen received the news that the cancer she had fought off during the early and mid nineties had returned. She went through major surgeries and chemotherapy, but the cancer is proving to be a tough fight. The harsh side effects of the treatment forced her out of her job and Colleen is now consumed by things other than her health.

Her closest friends and family have decided to throw her this fundraiser to be held on Sunday, May 31st at The Paddock in East Greenbush, NY. At the Paddock we will be having a music, barbeque and raffles. Anyone wishing to purchase a ticket ($15.00) to attend, donate a dish or make a monetary contribution please contact Colleen's son JJ, Carolyn Gracey or Aunt Frankie.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

A Daoust Thanksgiving

Carolyn Gracey-I have posted a newspaper article that Aunt Irene gave me a while ago. See if you can find your parent before you look at the key. I would love to know what that lamp would be worth today.
I hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

50 years and going strong

On June 9, 2007 Debbie, Carolyn and Ernie gave their parent's a surprise party for their 50th anniversary, where they renewed their wedding vows.

Dad always said after 50 years he get his walking papers, so we all thought we would re-up him for another 50 years. Guess he's in for the long haul now.
