Ed Daoust's young family
Here's Tom, Cheryl, Suzanne (baby), Jeanne, and Paul Daoust in Washington Park around 1954. Maybe someone who still lives in Albany can tell me if the statue behind us is still there or when it was removed.
Notice that all of life in these years was in black and white. We even thought in black and white. Even apples were gray or black.

the statue is still there and going strong - just refurbished a few years ago

Thanks for that info. I sort of remembered that it was religious, and on that basis alone, I was guessing Hillary or someone would've bulldozed it by now.
